What is it?
This hack is for your key conversion pages: we’re talking demo bookings or sign up forms.
Add a large image of your product next to or behind the form that you want visitors to complete. It could be slightly blurred or have a black overlay, but make sure your product is clearly visible.
Why this works
It's a nice reminder of what awaits them after they fill out your form.
By presenting a product, users feel just that little bit closer to finding a solution to their problem. This gives them more motivation to complete your form and gets you more conversions.
Things to consider
This image is going to be pretty big, so try to find the sweet spot between image quality and file size: you want to make an impact without slowing down the page load time too much.
Also, use an accurate representation of your product. There's nothing worse than disappointing users when they finally get into the real thing: you’ll just be trading better conversion on this page for higher churn.
