How to use this idea
What is it?
Create a Launch Week themed landing page to which you add new content over a number of days. Before you start creating your Launch Week landing page, plan out the content that you’ll be showcasing on it.
Don’t have enough content for all five days? Consider how you can repurpose or re-release existing content, as long as it’s relevant.
In advance of the Launch Week, build hype around it with posts across social media. On the first day of Launch Week, signpost to it from elsewhere on your website (e.g. announcement bar) and consider how you can advertise it elsewhere on social networks or paid media.
Why this works
Drive users to your site and build hype around your product by bundling different feature launches.
Things to consider
Consider how to drive traffic to the Launch Week page - perhaps by listing it on sites like Product Hunt, or through paid advertising.
Consider drip-feeding content to the Launch Week page throughout the week to give users an incentive to return, building a buzz around your Launch Week, rather than releasing all the content on day one.
Tried and tested
Real life example
Metomic's Google Launch Week campaign

By building a unique landing page with animations and interactions baked in there were able to keep their audience coming back each day. The launch week campaign allowed them to go live on product hunt.
