We're back for another round of Making + Building, and this time Tim is reporting - let's go!
👀 From the web: ...
We're always looking for visual inspiration in the studio and we love to go digging for inspiration beyond the world of websites and digital products.
The letterform archive has a fantastic catalogue of historical graphic design. It's free to browse and a great way to spend your next coffee break.
🆕 New in No-Code: Voiceflow
Voiceflow is a low-code solution for building conversational interfaces. They have been on the scene for a few years now. However, this month we've been bust working on an Alexa skill using Voiceflow, so it felt like a good time to share it.
Voiceflow is another one of those great tools that opens up something previously VERY complex to a wider audience. Now anyone with a bit of experience in UX design can apply those skills and build their own chat bots.
The killer feature? A direct Chat GPT integration. Send user inputs to chatGPT and come back with AI generated responses. Then deploy your chatbot to your website, all with just a few clicks.
📱 In the studio: Spinach.io is go 🌱
This month saw us partner with Spinach.io on a speedy project to redesign and replatform their marketing site. 3 weeks from kick off to intital launch
The site is built in Webflow and utilises a library of 15 'blocks' that lets the Spinach team spin up new landing pages in a matter of minutes. We're super excited to see what Emily and the Spinach team does with this new component library in their Marketing toolbox.
🔊 On the speakers: what we're listening to
It's Glastonbury highlights this month. The hour long set of Smiths covers by the legend, Rick Astley was my standout from the weekend.
📩 Launching something soon? Let's chat.
